When i first bought my 00 truck the horn fuse was blown so i replaced it. A couple of weeks later while backing out of the driveway the horn went off for 15-20 secs and stopped, i thought maybe i'd bumped it on the steering wheel and thought nothing of it. Well at 5:00 a.m. this morning i got a wake up call in the form of my horn going off until the fuse blew? Any ideas guys? No air bags in this unit.

Possibility the vinyl cover is deformed - contracts under cooler weather, blows horn.

Or, Christine........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

Oh ya, anyone trying to send me an email don't bother, appears we're having some spam issues with our server here and i'm not getting them... hopefully will have it rectified later today.

OK I popped the cover off the wheel, some pretty close contacts between the plates for the horn, bent em away a bit, now all i need is a fuse! Have lots of the larger ones but no little ones. Guess it wasn't Christine after all.

Email appears to be OK again also.

Maybe get some time today to also hook up that fooler correctly, how do you normally tap into the B wire, no 3 way connectors out here in the Brazeau?
