My oil sending unit is toast, bought a new one at the stealers and can't find anything that looks or "feels" like it. The new one takes a 1-1/4" socket. I found a sensor under the injetor pump but it isn't the same. It seems to be held in with a torx screw. Got to get me a manual! Thanks for the help!! Ran

Ran you are looking in the right area just changed one on a 99 about a week or so ago it is under and toward the rear of the injection pump it can be seen from under the truck in front of the front axle. It has a adapter that it is screwed into and it was easier for me to get a wrench on it and take it off with the switch and then change it out to the new one on the bench. Matt
