I ordered a set of Toyo Open Country M/T's today:D, it was a long thinking process. I almost feel like I am being raped @ $500 bucks a piece but they can have em by mid next week. My Nitto's are almost racing slicks now, but they are hanging in there. I only had the choice of the Toyo or the Kuhmno because that is all my tire guy could find to fit my rims. I hope these things are what they say they are!!!! It makes my wallet hurt to think about getting them tires, but it's like I always say. "He who dreams big needs deep pockets" So I am still digging my pockets deeper. I have been thinking about selling the 22's but I don't know I kind of like them. Just don't to much care for buying the tires to fit them.

keep the 22's, they are way cool. And you made a good choice going with the toyos.

How many miles did you get out of the Nittos?

I can't give the exact, because I have only had the truck for about 4 weeks. But the truck only has 35k miles on it so I'd say maybe 30k out of the tires. Because the guy I got it from was the second owner in a since. This truck was a GM program truck that was drove by the local dealer for a few months. It had 5k on it when he got it and did all the mod's to it. I love the Nitto's and would go with another set, but they have discontinued this size. I just hope that these Toyo's are what I have been hearing about them!?!

I would say at $500 per tire, you need new rims.

A local tire shop here in Dublin, Georgia. Man If I can get them at that price I'd be willing to come get them, or get them shipped to me. Could you tell me where you got yours at???

I have search the net and the 20" rim tires are going for $385 and the 22" rim tires are $512 both in a 37x13.50.

Damn that is expensive. But lookin cool ain't cheap:D I bought a set of 35x13.50/15 for my 71 and they were barely over a grand mounted and balanced. I just don't get it they use less rubber for the bigger rim sizes and it cost more money:(. But trust me you'll love the Toyo's, they're the best tire I've owned. I run em on my other rigs and am about to drop the hammer on a set for the Dmax.

Sick setup you picked up Georgiaboy. Looks great, and you'll love the Toyo's. I have the A/T's, but I love them, and I know a lot of happy campers with the M/T's. Your truck is **** man. Keep the 22's with that big of tire. But I must say, the $750 I paid for ALL 4 of my 33's makes me feel pretty happy with my setup ;)
Post pics when they're mounted!

You'll love the tires...I sure do. Keep the 22's with that big of a tire. I think they look good.
