i figure if i keep repeating it.. maybe i'll find an excuse not to douse it in gasoline and dance around it screaming at the top of my longs.. die.. die truck die..

finally got the fuel line replaced.. only to find out that the lift pump is dead as well..
thanks to TDG i've got a new lift pump.. and it works great.. no more air in the fuel! :)

decided totake it for a spin.. i also put on a flow master downpipe tonight..

well.. vroom.. vroom.. whips through first gear... whips through second gear.. er.. wait a minute..

why isn't it shifting???

get out of it.. get back into it..

nope.. not shifting into third.. pull an immediate uturn and head for home...

turns out there's no tranny fluid in the trans.. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley6.gif

the good news is it revs quick.. the engine fires right up now.. lotsa power on tap :)

does the trans take specific fluid.. or will any dexronII work?

welp.. it drank almost 2L of dex III... no idea where it's goin.. no puddles of red under the truck... but i susect it might be leaking in the loops in the rad... either that or the front seal of the trans.. i got a oil leak as well so its hard to tell... now that it can go through all the gears.. it goes pretty damn quick.. well.. quick is realitive i guess.. i'll see how it is towin this weekend..
