My 01 D-Max/Allison runs great 80% of the time. However the gear box heats up to 200 and the beast shifts like crap. The outside air temp does not seem to connect with the gear box temps either. Nor does it matter if I am knee deep in the throttle or not.


Is there a way to check the torque converter to emsure it is bolted in right? I have read that there have been some from the fatcory that were shipped loose?
