duramaxdiesel 09-30-2004, 03:18 PM What's the deal with these LLY's? My buddy, who I finally got to convert from the Ford camp, can't believe his MPG's. On a full tank my LB7 will give me 670Kms. His gets 512Kms at best. We have the same size tank and I know for a fact that he is much softer on the go pedal than I am. Any thought's? Oh, he has a little over 6000K on the truck now too so I'm sure shes broken in by now. Right? Nick McRat 09-30-2004, 03:34 PM 300 miles on a 26 gallon tank? I wouldn't believe it either if I didn't see his trip reading all the time. Max Power 09-30-2004, 04:46 PM One thing is that the gauges are more accurate and linear on the LLY. When you both fill up are you both putting the same amount of liters in? I have no problem getting 650km's to a tank on my LLY. The other thing is the two of you might have different driving styles. Your truck is also broken in and his is not. Lots of variables. | ||
