Need some one whith a little more exsperiance to look at this tune Please . Any advice would be helpful.

I am no expert but I would

- disable the EGR - looks like you modified it but by the looks of the tune it will still come on
- I would not change the Baro settings - these affect the boost tables used in your tune
- Change the boost test to not run
- on the Main PW and Main PW (no pilot) you might want to start addin fuel from 30mm3 up to 100 as the lower seems to make the around town throttle touchy.

I wish I could modify the tune and post it back but.. I have only licensed my 05 :(

This is The last flash that I made to my friends truck. This tune made good power. The trans settings made a real big diffrence. My friend has sence put an Edge , Exahust ,and intake on the truck O and he has the hot tune. He called me about two days ago about how his engine is clattering and Knockin and he said that he ran the Edge on level 4 for a day.I figure he was Getting an extra 300 HP. Any Guess at the reason for Damage? I told him that he probably ran the fuel pump dry . Any suggestions ??

This is what changed the boost levles for me. I went to Engine, torque management , turbocharger and changed the Boost controll settings on all three low, wed and high. You can use your unit conversion calculator to change from kpa to psi . I think this truck comes stock with arround 14.5 psi. On this tune I turned up to about 23psi witch is like 150 or so kpa. And on the desired boost I copyed the high table to the low just like you would do if you where modifying the timeing tables on an ls1 copy high to low.

Is the transmission still stock in the truck? I have yet to play with any type of transmission tuning, but by the looks of it you made a quite a few tranmission changes. But I am compairing your 04 tune to my 05 tun too :( can you post your stock tune? How does the truck shift??

As far as HP.. I doubt even together he is getting 300hp out the two together.

I am getting ready to do the next round of mod's to my truck while I am wait for the blu car to get the chassis done.

I am planning on installing the BD manifold, MBRP exhaust, MSD Lazer gauge pod on column, T-go SK-JR kit and a Kennedy boost stick.

I would love to play more in the trans tables ;)

Those who have been tuning a while learned this;) It is great advise for any tune! IF you do not under stand it do not use it. Tunes should be used for education. look through them and learn. try things one step at a time.

NEVER under any circumstance load a tune you did not build or fully trust the person who built it.

Tunes you find Might have some thing wrong no one knows about and you would un-knowling load this mistake into your truck and blow it up!

This is a tune that I wrote. And this tune put my buddys truck on the side of the hi-way last night. And I think it is an injector problem. #7 to be exact. I am not shure if the lift pump could not keep up or what ? Guess I shal Go elseware for help.

If you would not could you walk us through the changes you made and why of the transmission portion of you tune? What you have done makes sense. I am just trying to get an idea of how you got where you are ;)

Try doing a search for Ellis Groo and Trans...... Then look at the dates....

T Fast I Am only trying to advise agianst these trans settings . My friend said after some driving he felt that that this tune wasn't rite. FOR HELP IS WHY I POSTED THIS TUNE .

Truely no good deed goes unpunished. I tune my truck with efilive, but I own HPT and have license my truck with both HPT and EFI. So I figured I would try to help a guy out. Like so many members on here have helped me out with efilive. I was going to backup my tow tune with HPT so you could read it but have not had much extra time in the last week. So I will send you my tow tune in what I tune in EFILive. After this thread I will not waste my time with backing my tow tune in HPT.

Turbo if You get a chance I would love a copy in HPT to look at. You have been a help in the past.

Biggest reason i went with HPT is I had it. Well that and the bad taste I still have from years back with AutoTap ;)
