So after studying everything I possibly could about the different trucks I went the american way and decided bigger is better and bought myself a brand new 2005 GMC 3/4ton extended cab long box Dmax truck today :D
Too bad I don't get it till friday, it's got some stuff being sprayed on and bolted on at the dealer right now.

Your going to love your truck. I have an 04 ext cab long box. I added an 8" utility box as I'm using it for construction now. What are you having sprayed on?

Thanks guys :) I'm sure I will like it once I get used to the size of the thing. I'm going up from a jeep grand cherokee so it's a lot more vehicle. As far as what's getting sprayed on I'm having the dealer line-x the bed and rails and my mom thought it'd be a really good idea to get the undercoating/paint sealant/cloth protection stuff and at that point I just wanted to be done and pay for the truck so I said ok. It's also getting mudflaps and nerf bars. Oh and according to the GM site their lly is the same as the chevy so it's 310hp and 605ft/lb torque. Edited by: WAskier

Mac1234 I think mine is the same color as yours, in the picture your truck looks to be the silver birch metallic.
