It's on the flat bed on the way back to the dealer. DIC came up with "Charging System not Operating" or something like that, then it died. The low fuel light was on, but it said I had 30 miles to go, could it be out of fuel? My Av and my old Silverado would go at least 50 miles or more with the light on, I went maybe 10-15. Anyone else have any troubles like this?

Forgot to mention, it's a 2004 LB7.

Many have referred to the low fuel light as the "start walking 'cause the tank is empty" light. That would be my guess.

I hope so, got a big trip this weekend. If that is the case I'm actually happy cause my dealer told me he would fill my tank the next time I was low... might as well nail him for as much as possible. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

I had the low fuel light come on about a week ago as I was pulling into the fuel station. I put in 25.7 gallons. I could not believe it came on that close. I'm stopping sooner from now on.

You can actually get about 27.5-28 gallons from bone dry dead empty. Thats allowing for some tank stretch and the filler neck.
The best I've ever done was 26.8
