I just got the juice for my duramax now the wife wants more hp for the 6.0L in the Yukon.

Does there exist anything like the juice for the 6.0L?

Yeah, Whipple Supercharger. Results are comparable. Cost is not. (Cost of a supercharged 6.0 begins to approach that of a Juiced D-max, but cost of a Whipple is not comparable to cost of Juice.)

You could check out some centrifical supercharges too. They are more
peaky like a turbo if you like that "kick" coming in and tend to be
able to run a higher boost level without the need for a intercooler
because of less fricton in air during compression and therfore less
heating and therefore a denser mixture and there are some to be had for
under 3 grand and they are easy to crank up the boost on too.

Cost is important too.

Yes, it always is. The ownly problem would be is that with a
supercharger on the 6.0 it may out do your "juiced" truck in driving
fun.

So is there a computer chip upgrade like the juice for the 6.0L?

I don't want to add a supercharger!

You can get chips for the 6.0L but you aren't going to see anywhere near the improvement that you do with the juice.

You have options like hypertek etc or you can go with something better like westers. http://westers_garage.eidnet.org/

I tried the Westers in my truck (which has the 6.0 too). Didn't do a
whole lot, to be honest. Shifting was a bit quicker, and the throttle
response seemed a little better, but the pinging drives me nuts.

Are you still using 87 octane??? Is so, there is your problem as
you cannot get agreesive with timing and power with 87 oct as much as
some people try to or would like to. I use a Hyper tech with a 93
octane tune and I have had zero ping and I sometime use plus but never
87 octane. The tune did improve drivabilty and I gained about 1 mpg in
town. Sometime they can be had pretty cheap on Ebay too. I paid $125
for mine there but you are "locked" into a Westers now. .

Ok after spending two nights on my living room sofa, I decided to buy my wife 6.0L Denali. Wife says no mods, but the holidays are coming and I was thinking maybe geting her a supercharger.

Which kit do you guys recommend?

Anyone local in SoCal?

Price?

Thanks

On a side note, slap it a set of deeper axle gears and a "tune" and it will wake that Yukon up a lot!

Wow, a Supercharger for Christmas! That is my kind of present...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif

That will add some power to that 6.0L for sure!
