My stock speaker blew so I got some components. Plan on getting a different head unit, subs, and amps later.
For now I am trying to hook the components up to the stock wireing. The components have a crossover. So only two wires hook up to the cross over and two seperate out puts from crossover to the mid and tweeter.
Stock their are seperate wires to the mid and tweet.
Do I just hook the 2 wires from the stock mid to the crossover? Will it get full power from the deck that way? do I need to hook both the mid wires and the tweet wires to the crossover to get full power?
Thank you
jeremy

Need more information.
Bose system? Can't use standard speakers with Bose.
As you mentioned in your post, you have seperate wires to your tweets and mids. That would imply that you do have a bose system meaning you already have an amp.
Give us the run down on your factory equipment.

05 lly crew cab.
I did a search. the best thing I could find was the stock system has the tweets wired in parallel with the mid. As far as I know it is not a bose system.
All kinds of talk about what component set was the best. How to wire up the amp, etc.. Nothing about hooking components up to stock wires/head unit.
I just took the 2 wires to the mids and ran them to the crossover. I left the tweets disconnected.
Seems to be ok.
