Well its been a little over a week now and the truck hasnt acted up once......so far the truck has been running a lot smoother, seems a little bit quieter at idle and mileage has gone up 1-2 per gallon.

I feel like I just hexed myself posting this but oh well........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

Boy that sure is good news!! After a few weeks how about not running it and see what happens??

These trucks sure have a love/hate relationship.

Norcal, did you just go to the dealer and tell them to flash the new program on or did you take it in for service of the problems you quote above?

I have that problem as well ...just wondering if I can just call the dealer and just run down and have them reflash it.

thanks

i took the truck in for the knocking, stumbling and smoking......im sure if you called the service dept and ask them to do it they would............but then again everyone has a different type of relationship with their delaer...........doesnt hurt to try though.....

Good to hear. I removed my edge last night, and am getting mine
reflashed on Monday, I was very nervous when all this nonsense started,
but I am hoping this is what it needs. I was relieved to notice that
removing the edge did nothing to make it run better, so I was feeling
better that the edge wasn't the problem.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/hihi.gif
