Which produces the best HP with JUST the box/programmer without any propane or NOS. I am not concerned with which air filters, intake systems or exhaust. Edited by: BassinRVer

Uh oh.....he did it nowhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif

A word of caution when comparing tunes. Make sure that the comparison is between the latest update of the tune or witch ever one you will be buying.

I do not want to start a war here, just want to know which single big box produces the most HP.

Looks like the TTS Extreme is producing the most repeatable high numbers from what I've seen.

I need one. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif

I have yet to try the TTS, but from all accounts it is an outstanding performer.

VanAAken's Stoopid tune is very smooth, good power, low smoke, but APP sensetivity makes it a different animal to drive with... and on the highest setting cruise is a bit choppy.

Comp Juice/Attitude. Still my personal favorite as the best all-rounder and bang for the buck.

Bullydog 155, Nice features, well priced and relatively smooth, but a bit too much timing makes it sound somewhat 'rattly'

In closing, not one of these boxes that i have here are perfect, all have their strengths and weaknesses. Depends on what you want.

Maximum GO power ....TTS/VanAAken

Safest MAX go power EDGE

Decent go and stealthy, limiter delete and other features... Bullydog

That is why i have all of them (Except the TTS so far) i can tailor whatever i want... when i want.

What VA are you running juice? is it available to the general Joe yet?

I think anything with lotsa power pisses off the cruise controll and flakes it out, even my hot oj has a touch of it. The TTS in the Extreme setting is kinda surge happy.

John K thinks it is the same one he sells, i am unsure. the best way would be to use the translator and compare the table values side by side? or dyno both boxes on the same truck same day same dyno and see.

Communications with VA are poor (slow) at best as I refuse to call International overseas. Based on the email response from Mark at Van Aaken, he loaded the file that was created during his April visit here.

The Extreme is what I have witnessed time and time again as the performer. I won't go with out it. For cooler temps and clean sputer free power, the Extreme it is. The Extreme was not designed for every day running on the street. It is a street fighter program. Running in the 80, or 120 mode is much better for the street, howerver if you need to decimate some one, just flip the switch and hammer time is here. My stone stock base up here is 216 all the time. Once I got 218. On #2 only with the Extreme, the lowest I have dynoed here is 472 and 1017fpt. Speaks for itself doesn't it? Why tip toe, when you can STOMP.

Even though my truck has always been somewhat of a weak performer, its best #'s have always been with the TTS extreme.

Robert, Seems one sided huh ? (TTS) I too am at the point before drugs take over.

Got Juice pretty well sized it up about the various power boxes I am aware of.

My setup (see sig) is working for me, but then I am always open to a "better way". One thing for sure though, be ready to give up a little driveability for power. That flip of a "switch" may work but I have found it will confuse the hell out of the tranny.
