I think you might want to do a search on stalls, there have been a few threads associated with this but I am not sure with what version. Good luck

I have only seen one that had a no start stall issue. The verdict was never decided on. The owner still doesn't know if it was his truck or the box. John

HJAT v4.81 has been great for 20,000km last summer. I was having the crank no start problem with v4.73.

I hate to tell ya but mine has stalled twice but started right back up. Also it has sputtered a few times leaving from a stoplight. Other than that it's fine. I can't bring myself to part with it to send it back. The truck feels like a dog without it. Nick

Duramaxdiesel, When I look at your signature, I see Hot Juice?? Is the 4.81 also a new version of Hot Juice??? I am /have ordered a regular juice 4.81 without attitude as I already have guages and don't want to go above the 90 hp as I don't intend to upgrade my transmission...I am hoping that the regular 4.81 is different than the Hot Juice and I don't have the http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gifstall/No Start Problems....http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

Same as Blinky, two solid weeks of lot's of stop and go, highway and pedal mashing - - - No hesitations, stalls, sputters or cranking issues. Nuthin' but horsepower!

ehehehehe....

opposite carbon but same as above.....

no start / run on 4 cyls, belch black smoke on HJAT v4.73.....

In my case it ALWAYS ran fine when I shut the key off and re-initialized the attitude. Never ever stalled or hesitated.

HJAT 4.81 flawless....knock on wood.....

Too add to that, I sold my hot juice/attitude to nwpadmax. It ran fine in my truck for 6 months with no issues. I sent it to him and he started having problems instantly. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif

It is not the HOT vs. NON-HOT programming.........http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif

Edge will fix the problem if one should occur, they always have in the past..........customer service is above and beyond........

BTW........what is the date of manufacture on the Edge box and the Attitude ?????? Was it a reflash or exchanged box to HOT program ?????

4.81 fixed the no start for me.

BUT.....I had a stall over the weekend. At a stop sign it sputtered dead and took a while to start up again. Smoked bad when it did. First time for me since the 3.??? I had on my upgrade journey.
