Got stuck(twice) pulling my cooking trailer in Feb up nort in Minnesoda! Decided it was time(at age 59) to finally have a 4wd truck. Had almost bought a new 1500 series truck when thought that maybe it is the time in my life to have a diesel truck so went shopping--found this truck @ www.lenzauto.com (http://www.lenzauto.com) seemed ok and a little less then an '07 1500.
After about 300 miles still really like the truck but probably won't be a daily driver 'till the F150 expires. Well actually the one thing that has expired with this purchase is my retirement date--now it is 3yrs from next Thursday!!!!!!
This truck is gonna be used pulling our new cooking trailer to KCBS contests around the Midwest--as the trailer will only weighy about 6K when done am sure the duramax/allison is more than up to the task
Other than tinkering on the Harleys am NOT a diy guy anymore(well other than homebrewing anyway)<LOL>
Adding a spray on bedliner this week and one those shiny SS strips too!
As soon as I find a mechanic type in this area will spring for the nictane filter and exhaust system too--as long as it can be hidden from CFO!!
And as always will trade championship BBQ for advice
see ya
