Okay guys heres the deal

I will be pulling two Bobcats on a 35' gooseneck trailor roughly 400 miles (from North AL to South AL) and I do not know the exact weight of one bobcat but my Question is will my 2500HD pull that load safely? I dont want to risk any damage to my truck

Also does the Allison relearn how to shift in T/H mode?? I have had the edge on level 1 low boost 5 and it still jerks and bucks a little during the 2-3 shift. Is this normal or has it not had a chance to learn in T/H mode as I do not drive in that mode very often

Thanks in advance

I don't think you have anything to worry about at the level you will be towing at. The Ally will learn fast enough. Remember the weak link will be the converter.

Being on a gooseneck, I dont think you'll have any problems. I haul one (s185) around on a car trailer and the only thing that shows any stress is the trailer itself! I dont recall the weight of the bobcat though, I did weigh it once. I'm thinking they weighed just as much or a little more than my pickup alone...like 7-8K lbs. I could be wrong though.
