New to the Diesel world. Purchased a 2003 Chevy 2500HD w/diesel and allison tranny. What a great truck. It is fully loaded from the factory and I sure am enjoying it! I have a restored 1952 Farmall Tractor that I pull in an enclosed trailer to antique tractor shows and the truck pulls it like a dream. The weight of the trailer with tractor would be around 5500#. Use to pull it with a gas engine and what a difference the diesel makes. I have been thinking about buying a tuner for the engine but with all of them out there it is hard to know which are the safe ones. i would like to do just a mild tune up on it and correct the speedometer for the 285/75R tires that I put on it. It is a 4 wheel drive... Any advise would greatly be appreciated. Thanks to all and all drive safely. ****
