Is anyone else getting worse mpg since you had you fuel injectors replaced. I was getting around 19 before they went and 14-15 after the change. Just wondering if this is normal or if I have another problem. Sure would would like to have the 19mpg back.
I just had my injectors changed, will get back to you after I check the mileage. It maybe my imagination but I think it rattles more now, sounds like a Ford. Did they put in remanufactured injectors or new?? My repair slip said remanu??

If you go by the DIC it is shows a big drop.
Mine dropped from 20.5 to 18.5 mpg on the DIC but in reality the actual MPG is the close to tfhe same. My fuel consuption on the DIC was way off with the defective injectors. My DIC would indicate that I used 19.5 gal and the pump would say 23.5 gal. With the new injectors the difference is less than a gallon.

Almost all warranty replacement injectors are remanufactured.
They do have a small failure rate on remanufactured injectors, so problems aren't unheard of.
MPG should go up. It did on mine on all three previous sets. If it is down, then ask the dealer for a recheck on balance rates and etc...

The injectors where changed in Florida and we live in Ohio. Broke down on our way back home. Had to leave the truck and camper there for a week. Will have to check with the local dealer and see if they will recheck the balance rates under warranty or see how much they charge to do so. May give it a little time yet.
I have to check the repair sheet and see if they were remanuf. or not. Not really sure on that one.
First tank after injector change (all eight) was 18.18 mpg (hand cal) at 65 mph. So that was about the same as I was getting before injectors went bad. Hypertech now back in and set on Stage II, will see what it does for the mileage. Have not yet towed 5th wheel, that was were I was having the power loss prior to injector change.
