It has dual thermastats, that makes it a '97 at least. It looks ok, who knows.

If nothing else, you'd get yourself one of those really cool Turbo Power covers.

I think their starting bid is a bit high.

From the looks of the turbo inlet, it's been sitting around for a while.

Anyone know of any dual stats setups for sale, ie.. salvage yards, old core motors sitting around etc....really just need the crossover and housing

What about the higher volume waterpump? I've seen them on www.car-parts.com (http://www.car-parts.com) and ebay.

I can get that local for a good price if I have too. I would buy the complete setup from someone if they had everything too. You know where one is ?

Bowtie,

Kennedy's got it: http://www.kennedydiesel.com/detail.cfm?ID=32

Lower rad hose not included, but no different than what you have now.

Since I need a motor since the old one threw a rod out the oil pan,
etc, do you guys thing this would be a worthwhile buy? This is close to
my area, so maybe I can make a local deal? You guys think this is worth
my time or do you have some reliable sources to recommend? Im going to
need this truck back on the road soon, so any suggestions would be
helpful. Thanks!

That long blok was an ok price if you don't have to do anything but drop it in. There was another shortblock on ebay for ~$300.
