for all of you who had the re-flash done for injectors, and are using a power module for extra HP ? wanted to know if you had any problems re-installing the power modules after the flash was done, i.e. hooking up edge again or what ever it may have been after the flash and if there were any problems with that after the flash ? thanks

how did you know to get a reflash? is there a TSB out for the injectors on the LLY?

I DONT THINK THERE IS A TSB ON THAT JUST A PI (dealership code) they might not do the flash unless you tell then that you you have a problem. white smoke,black smoke,combustion knock, rough idle. my friend had a knock off idle w/ ju/***. installed. told dealership about the the pi# they did the flash . he installed j/a the knock went away . others on the forum the the same problem an the flash seem to work for most of then

interesting...I have the Edge on mine and I have a loud knocking. I am pretty sure it wasn't that loud when I bought it.

On this fuel knock...does it sort of sound like a small metal door flapping?

I only found this TSB...which is what I am hearing. I may take it in for this and the A/C issue. I hear the normal diesel sounds, but also this ticking.

I also took my truck into the local dealer and had the latest GM recalibration done to my LLY DMAX. Prior to that the Juice would make my truck knock bad. Without the Juice installed the motor sounded fine, the only strange thing it would do is have a rough idle at about 180 degrees. Its been about a week now since I had the recalibration done and I reinstalled the Juice and it runs and sound great now.

Ive had mine reflashed and plugged the juice back in.....no real problems.......

Sounds like you need injectors.

Had the reflash done today. The first thing I noticed when I started it up, was a much smoother and quieter idle. Drove around the block and reinstalled my EGR block off plate. It seems a little more responsive off idle than before. Other than that, I really didn't notice any other improvements. I don't have any real problems with my LLY other than poor gas mileage. I was getting 10.5 miles per gallon before the reflash with block off plate installed. I might add, this is all stop and go city driving with truck weighing in at around 8500 lbs with 8' service body fully loaded for construction use. 1300 miles on engine. I'll post back next week and give an update on any mileage improvement. Mac

got the call from the SM today, said the truck will be ready tomorrow, I had it in for a couple of minor things to fix and for the fuel knock - he said they performed the re-flash and it checks out good, ill know more tomorrow when i pick her up
