: 3500SRW in ’04 brochure but... 3500dmax 10-26-2003, 05:15 PM ...there is no mention of the LLY Duramax and the power figures listed for the Duramax remain the same at 300hp/520 lb-ft of torque. I know that insiders have posted some information here but everything in prints seems to point to no hp/tq changes. It does mention 265 tires. Any updated "Insider" information or has anyone spoken with a dealership and gotten any additional information. Buckshot has a MT 265/85R-16 that is E rated I've run the 265 and 285 -16 and now have 285-17 on my truck. As for the 3500 SRW I was trying to get a new truck last nite (end of extra $1000 employee bonus) and the dealer doing the dealer trade took 8 hours to tell my dealer the truck had 2500 miles on it http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif I wanted to get an 04 now then order another for April w/ the LLY motor. My dealer said he could start ordering the 3500 SRW in mid November and if I wanted he would order me one. No tow package, no tow haul mode. Probably some other things lighter duty too. The LLY is listed w/ the old LB7 #s except the peak torque is at 1600rpm and the peak HP is at 3000rpm.
