hey guys, looks like im gunna buy a 6.5 tomorrow and i was wondering what you guys think about it

its a 1996 gmc 2500 extended cab long bed 4x4 automatic 208,500 miles

recent work
new glow plugs
new starter
new batteries
new water pump

the body is in great shape with just a little surface rust on the bottom of the doors

im paying 4,200 bucks

what do you guys think, i only need it to last me the next 2 years so about 60k miles

good buy?

Well if you got the extra $5000. for if the engine breaks the crank 1 week after you bought it and 50 miles after the oil is changed,,, :rant: Then I'd say yeah sure sounds like a great deal!!

But know I'm gettin excited and ready to have my NEW truck kickin gas and running for a long time!:chevy:

Only thing I would be worried about is the list of new stuff.....hopefully he wasnt trying to fix a problem and gave up....

well he said he had no major problems. it hardly towed in its life, hes the orgional owner.

im just worried that when i buy it the head or block is gunna crack and end up costing me a ton to replace
