Bringing my truck home Tues. night and have to quickly hook up my electric brake control for a short light haul in the AM on Wed.

Question: I had a tough time on my wifes '01 Yukon finding which part of the Underdash Electrical Center to plug the harness into. I had to do some electrical testing to narrow it down as there were a couple unused ports where the harness could go and the diagram was a little confusing. I won't have the time to fart around with the new truck in the PM and would like a quick install. Is the owners manual gonna spell it out clear for me. If not I sure would appreciate a little timely info.

Thanks in advance!!

Be aware that the harness are not the same on '01-'02 and '03-'05 model year trucks. Started in '03 GM changed the whole electrical system. You would have to buy the proper harness for your truck model year.

Thanks - I know all that, dealer says harness is included with
D/A. Just looking for the correct plug position on the Underdash
Electrical Center (which one to plug it in to). Don't know if
I'll have a problem - just want to make sure I have info for a quick
hook-up.

I believe it is the second one from the left on the top. It is keyed so you can't get it wrong anyways.

Thanks Max Power - that's the info I was looking for. Didn't know about the "keyed". Looks like it's the same as the '01

Thanks again

It may look the same, but the "pins" have been switched around so it won't work as "plug and play".
