I have a 2001 regular cab 4X4 with snow plow prep. package. It has the Aux Lights push button on the dash. The dealer says it is a wireing harness hidden in the roof to power a warning light bar. I would like to wire my plow warning light bar up to it but the dealer has never done it and I am not happy with the idea of drilling a good sized hole in the roof to go fishing for a wiring harnes. Has anyone used this harness?

just pull the headliner down a little and find it that way

Many people have drilled their third brake light, run the wire through, and siliconed it up. A lot easier to replace a plastic lens if need be than a roof panel...

Old bear...

I finally did the light hookup today!

Its real easy...

1. with drivers door open move seat all the way up.

2. Pull down head board near rear window a little bit.

3. look for 2 black wires taped together.

4. I just snaked my wires up through 3rd brake light and drilled hole and put silicon over hole.

5. Wire up the lite and shove extra wire back.

Switch on dash works great!

I do plow with my truck

Good luck...pm me if you need help.
