Went about removing the badging with a few of the methods I've seen mentioned; fishing line, hair drier to warm the sticky tape. When all was said and done, I used adhesive remover to get most of the remaining glue and then...

I spotted a can of starting fluid nearby, John Deere 80% ether, to be exact. Sprayed it on another rag and wiped off the last of the glue. Remains to be seen if it will eat off the paint.

Oh ya, use in a well vented area and extinguish all flames pior to attemping this method.

And of course make sure the area is well vented adn there are no open flameres.

ddi i mension u shud have alot fo iar adn no fiars around cuzz ethar is know goood to breeth

I did the same thing as you, started with adhesive remover and then used brake cleaner on a rag. I know it sounds stupid but it worked very well and its been about a month and my paint is still there.

That sucks man, i was worried about that too. I have one very small scratch from a rubber scraper but that was my fault, it actually worked good though. Well worth the work.

Looks good, I love the clean look... I got lucky with mine the day I brought it home I grabed the side moldings and yanked they came right off, glue and all, even the badges?

Boardered is what farmdog has on his truck non boardered doesn't have the extra lines (boarder) on it. If that makes any sense:o:
