Has anyone ever swapped a 6.5 diesel in for a tbi 350? i am considering the swap for my 1993 z71(350 + 4l60e), and was wondering if anyone has done anything like this before. I know it will take time and money, but what else? any ideas or sugestions appreciated.

Are you replacing the 4L60E with a 4L80E? You'll need a radiator and shroud, too. How are you going to get fuel to it? Inline pump on frame rail being added?

yes, 4l80. i was thinking i might buy a 1500 with a 6.5td and use it as a parts truck.

Buying the correct parts truck would be necessary to preserve your sanity & money,IMO.
