I want to mount a boost gauge somewhere in the truck. The Edge Evo digital is not accurate from what I've read on here. I don't like the pillar mount and I think it would conflict with my Edge Evo dash mount that's pushed against the pillar. I can't do the socal overhead console mount b/c of the sunroof.

anyone have any creative ideas? there's the little useless opening in the dash, has anyone come up with a pop in single gauge pod for that area? (right of stereo, above the two openings in console below stereo).

Sweet. That doesn't conflict with view of stock gauges? I found this, pro pod part no. POD-81030, it's a single gauge pillar mount that doesn't look too bad. Not a huge fan of pillar mounts, but I think this one tucked up above the edge evo mount will look ok.

I have the steering column mount as well. It DOES block some view of the spedometer... 85+ It also blocks the far right portion of the gear indicator/trip odometer. Not a big deal. All the other gauges are in plain sight and what is blocked can be seen easy enough by moving your head a little.

does that replace the whole top cover of the steering cover or just sit on top? Where is a good place to purchase one of them?

also if you are thinking of putting a single pod on your a-pillar beware of the automter one does not wrap the full pillar, it stops about an inch and half from the winshield, which makes it look like poo

Mine sits on top. it comes with double sided tape to keep it in place but I bought some industrial strength velcro and cut strips and used that so I could pop it off if i wanted to. ;)

The auto meter steering column gauge mount is nice but doesn't fit correctly on 03-06 trucks. It was designed for the 98-02 steering column and they changed the column style in 03.

You can still use it but it only fits the right half of the column. The side with the turn signal will not fit correctly.

I am using it currently. I had to cut it in half right down the top of the steering column. It doesn't look bad but I'm not totally convinced I like it the way it is but it was the only alternative. I also tried to put an 01 steering column cover on and that didn't work either. I still need to trim it a bit and glue it down, so it should look pretty good when it's all done.

Looks good. Could have been a bit higher though, a little close to the EVO.
Your dash looks pretty sweet with the wood accents
