I am having trouble with the mirror display for my temp and compass. It seems to cut in a out when the weather gets around freezing. It comes on for a while then turns off (along with the green lights on the mirror) then comes back on but has just the scrambled (all of the lights coming on like to test at start up) screen. Then it will flip back and forth from off to on. I am wondering if it is a bad temp sensor or something else producing this problem?

You might have what I had which was a bad pin in the body connector for the mirror. On mine the dealer replaced the sensor twice and the mirror once. Then they found out that it was a pin in the connector and it has worked fine ever since.

If it was just the temperature sensor, the mirror would read "OC" where the temperature display should be. All other functions would be normal. Check the connection at the mirror and in the junction block (same one the brake controller hooks into.)
