I was looking at the Duramax item on e-bay and ran across this. You at the pictures and see if it is me or is the fuel filter in a differnt place than an 03 LB7 6500.00 not bad for engine and trans

the fan is different..... the filter placement is different........ the innercooler tube is different.... HOLD on......

Hey that motor goes in a truck, like a topkick or something. Looks like it could be the 210 or something.

............ Where's Eric?

There are a lot of differences including a brake on the tail shaft. Must be from a 4500, van etc. Later! Frank

yep, that engine and trans are form a 4500/5500 Topkick/ Kodiak

50 miles ? seems a little suspect to me.

wondering just how "hot" a deal this really is.

Yeah, the whole set-up looks wayy too clean. Doesn't even look like it's had a hot bath. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Embarrased.gif

you can tell by the bell housing, exhaust manifolds, oil pan, intercooler pipes, intake, down pipe and acc mounts that its not from a pick up. The bell housing and trans cooler are medium duty, as is the fuel filter. Like mentioned, likelya 4500 Kodiak or similer

It will work in a pickup, but its gonna take a lot of switching parts over
