Going to get an exhaust system, cant decide on one yet. I dont want it to be loud, I only want to hear the turbo more. Which one should I get?
Any suggestions on brand? I have a 2007 Classic CCSB D/A.

If turbo sound (whistle) is all that you are looking for, I might suggest an air intake kit.

If you want maximum turbo sound, you will need to get a full system. A cat-back kit will get you some, but the full kit will sound like jet. With the full kit though, it is also going to be louder. Its not obnoxious, but definately louder.

agreed go turbo back and it will improve the turbo sound alot and it will make the truck sound good but not to loud. I would go with MBRP it sounds good and is a pretty easy install.

Yeah, that sounds good, but I dont want it to be really loud. Just the whistle really. Not looking for the 16 y/o pipes.
Does turbo-back affect any sensors, send any codes, etc....?

i had mbrp duals installed on my 07 classic and it threw a code. installed ppe blocker plate and code eliminator and still threw a code. changed eliminator two more times and still threw a code. I ordered a ppe tuner to get rid of the code, hopefully that will be it! some guys change their exhaust and don't throw any codes. I haven't touched the intake yet but i love the whistle from the turbo back!

I just did a turbo-back 5". Not that loud. Think big block muscle car - deep rumble, makes noise when you open it up, but otherwise not obnoxious. Great turbo whistle. now if you take the muffler out and go straight pipe from the turbo back it will probably be a bit loud.
By comparison, its a bit louder than my 04 z06 corvette was, but not by much.

If all you want is a whistling turbo and you aren't interested in more power, then just change intakes (Airaid is good value and will give you all the whistle you want). I'm very happy with my exhaust (see below) but it is louder and took getting used to.
