For those who have a complete ats upgrade how much did it cost you to get the parts and labor done and where?

I would imagine you could get pricing directly from ATS or the website. I dunno what they are at now, but most of their dealers should be right near list. Install for a complete trans will be around 5 bills, add some in to install a co-pilot. Install for the kit would likely be around 1200-1500 with the co pilot

I have seen a few posts where people have talked about a complete install being in the $5K range... I would take dmaxalliTech's idea and call directly or find a distributor in your area... Good luck

Had mine done 6 months ago by ATS with co-pilot, torq convertor, labor and all it was real close to $6,500 with tax.

Its cheaper to buy the kit-parts and have someone install them.

BBdmax- I know someone close that can get parts and do the install.

I think I paid $4000 counting synthetic fluid and shipping.

I just think that is a little much for a trans... But if you look at the SunCoast 5, you will spend some serious cash to have that installed too. I guess it all works out in the end, just depends on what you want....

http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif I meant 500 or so for shop labor to install a complete ATS trans, not a kit nor including parts

Man thats High!!!! I know this is totally a different animal, but a buddy just paid 4700 for one with copilot on his 00 dodge, and we put it in one afternoon. Yes they say the Duramax is a little harder to do, but 6500 is way too much.

Looks like you can be out the door for about $5280.00. This includes a 3 year 100K warranty...not too terrible if you consider how hard it is to get a decent warranty on other auto trannies.Edited by: Diesel Dually
