Has anyone here installed any? Mine has gotten a scratch and dent (I didnt do it) that needs to be bondo'd and repainted. The repair is gong to be paid for by the person who scratched it so I was thinking if I have a free paint job, why not get a new hood all together?

Is there anything wrong with fiberglass hoods?

Where would be some good places to start looking?

The problem I see with fiberglass hoods is some aren't strong enough near where your springs are that raise the hood and so the springs push on it and warp it up next to the fender when it's shut.. Looks crappy and usually breaks after a while.. I know several guys that changed to the little rod to hold it up after getting a fiberglass hood. I would go with a steel hood if you can find one that you like..
