I just got a power pup for my LLY and installed the 95hp tune a few minutes ago. As soon as i was done, i started it up, but it sounded much louder than stock. Much louder, i drove by an older gentleman as i was pulling out of my aompartment complex and it looked like he ringed. I assumed this was how the truck was going to sound from now on, but after i got up to about 45 on the road, it went away, and didn’t come back after that. Is this normal?

The shifts seemed really strange at first also, but seemed to have calmed down a bit. I'm assuming this is just the ally learning to deal with the new power. About how long does the tranny take to adjust?

Also, i know the DIC is a off from the factory, but it was telling me that my instant MPG cursing on flat ground at 55mph was 45mpghttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Wacko.gif. As much as i would like to believe that, i know it's not the case. Is this normal? or an i just being paranoid?

It will shift weird until the transmission learns. Then it will begin to shift normally. The mpg is off most likely and might be just from the speed you were traveling. Should take the trans about a week to learn and then you should be ok....
