Problems with Edge products software causing smoking, sputtering, surging at part throttle excelleration. Only between temps 165 and 185. Now that the edge is sittin on the couch, the truck runs beautifully. 12,800 miles and still no DTC.

Shouldnt Edge notify us when an update is available? And if not, do we need to rely on this forum to be notified?

Edge doesn't have a customer list of everyone who owns an edge. Most of the time upgrades aren't necessary unless you are having problems. So if you are having problems, contact edge.


This forums is also a great place to see when updates are available because so many people here are edge owners. One of them is likely to report when a fix is available.

Since so many people are having problems with it, you'd think they'd post updates on their web site for everyone to see. Everyone's problems seem a bit different. I've been running stock for 3 days now and it rund beautiful. I also picked up some cetane boost, fuel additive, specifically designed for sticky injectors. We'll see what happens. I really want to hook it back up today but I'm a little apprehensive about it. HHmmmmm.
