I talked to a friend of mine this weekend that claims his 2007 LBZ w/ the EVO set on level 3 gets 22 mpg on the road. He has 7k miles on it. No other mods except for tires. Oh, and he drives like a bat out of %$#@.

My Hypertech on level 2 only gets 16.5.

What gives? Is there that much difference in programmers?

I drive like a bat outa' @#%^&* also, but with my Evo set on three, cruise on 78, and no headwind, I got 22.3 hand calculated. Before mods, my avg. highway was 17-18.5.

Does he hand caculate his mileage? He's probably just going by the DIC...:)

That is what I am saying, the Hypertech should be getting better.

I don't get much better if anything from stock with my evo. I can touch 20 mpg but need to drive slow. 75 mph nets me about 16.5mpg. 60mph gets about 20mpg. (We are talking US gallons). Trailer and towing gets about 14mpg and maybe as low as 12mpg but I think it is getting better now that it is getting broke in.

I have two questions? Is he going by the DIC or is he hand calculating? Is he running factory tires? I traveled ~550 miles today @ 70-75 mph with the EVO on level 3. there was a decent headwind. I got 17.96. DIC said 18.4. The est I have ever got was 18.9 and that was wiht EVO on level 2.

I got best of 18.5 with the Hypertech on 3 when I first installed it on 2 I got between 16 & 17 combined city/hwy. I drive about 70/75 on the hwy. I didn't really see much improvement with the Hypertech.
