I have a 93 turbo diesel engine that was going to be used in a gas swap but found out that it will not fit. I will probably end up using for another vehicle I know will fit, but thats not the question. The question is are there other turbo diesels that are smaller than the 6.5 thats mechanically controlled? The 6.5 is a big engine and I have a smaller space. Is the Isuzu diesel engines smaller. I can handle taller and longer, but not wider.

B Series Cummins - what's it going in?

I was hoping to put it in a 80 Jag, since its a very nice smooth ride and its factory equipped with a dual tank set up. That and I had both engine and car available, but the 6.5 diesel is just too big. I could get it stuffed in there but it would require lots of cutting and I just dont want to do that.

Going in a car, then forget a Cummins. I'd lean towards something from Mercedes.

Maybe a 4 banger cummins? I know they can easily produce enough power to push your Jag. Might still be a little heavy though.

The B series is ~ 42" +/- tall. Probably won't fit unless you want everything from the heads on up to stick out of the hood. The blower...Look at the blower Max... And the 4B is about 800 lbs. A bit much for a car :D
