A buddy of mine just installed a FASS on his truck and did a dyno before and after
he has a Bulldog power puck and a Duramaximizer (I think that what he said)

How long ago did he install this?
TDR boys have been finding regulator spring issues and weakening pumps as I am told...Edited by: Kennedy

I had one on my Dodge for one year and had no issues.. I think he installed it about 2 months ago.

So it did improve the HP and torque? I thought that it did not.? Sounds good.

The dyno tests run above don't look altogether too consistent, nor do they shape like any Dmax that I've seen...

Since the dyno plot only shows 2600 to 3100 the plots are just fine. The simple truth is I have posted similar results with the addition of a lift pump so I do not feel it the FASS system creating the gain but the lack of fuel supply to start with. Using a simple lift pump to maintain 5 psi at the exit of the stock fuel filter does the same thing. Nothing wrong with the FASS but I believe the gain is just the lack of fuel.

I've never seen a 100 lb/ft difference, especially down at the 400 RWHP level.
I've seen minimal gains at the 470+ level. We put Ton's truck right in where I expected it based on weather conditions and he had no lift pump.

Can someone explain to me why a lift pump would change the factory revlimiter shutoff?
Or am I missing something?
DOH!!! I'm a retard. Anyways, funky looking graphs.Edited by: McRat

The whole plot looks wonky to me. I don't have a Dynojet pull that looks even remotely similar and I have a quite a few to choose from. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

It's a Cummins I'll bet.

If you take a dynojet graph and enlarge it on the screen then print it to show just this area that's about how I've seen them in the past. I only see a large gain where the non pump system fell off and recovered, the gain looks to be about 40 ft/lbs average.

its also probably cooler for the higher hp run... one was at 12 noon, the other at 8pm..

The first run without the FASS was 81.8 degrees and the second run with the FASS was 85.1 degrees.

I put a fass system in my truck. Haven't had a chance to dyno it. I'll post if it makes a difference with my truck.I've noticed it to seems smoother. And makes alot of noise.
