Anybody have one or a buddy who does? Want to know how it works. Any problems with shifting smoothness? Any feed back would be great. Thanks

They've been revising it as late as last week. I sent my std unit back for revision. They had it for a week, and ended up dropping the ball on getting it back to me for Byron. I basically told them to send it back as was and figured I'd buy one from someone with their act together...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Angry.gif

The std unit has way too much timing in it IMHO.

It is great if you are only after an additional 130 RWHP, not 230 RWHP
as they claim. They refuse to refund my money and gave me nothing but
excuses as to why my truck and two others have the same results. The
Duramaximizer (same company) only gained 40 RWHP above stock baseline
too.

That is a crock of crap. I feel that a company that is promoting this high dollar unit would allow that to happen. I wonder about that. I know mine is ok but not like it is proclaimed to act.

As for the 30 day MONEY-BACK, yea right! I could of sworn I saw it in
the fine print.... but at the time I was searching so many other 'toys'.

I just received mine back as a Std unit. I sent 2 tuners out, both UPS red. One to PPE and one to Quad. Quad had mine for 1 day and it came back personalized. PPE had mine for a week, said (Thursday aft) that it was shipped and would be here Friday although NOT programmed to the absolute latest. Thursday PM after hours I got a call stating it was not shipped. I was shooting for Friday so I could try it at the Byron race. Tim had his in time for Byron, AND they were the absolute latest.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/smiley7.gif

I had them send it back as was, so I am only out the cost to ship it out. If I need one, I'll buy it from Tim...Edited by: Kennedy

I regret not running the new Quad 215 solo at the track. It has a few driveability bugs yet, BUT it is much stronger than the old one.
