Since the filters have been deleted do to the dual climate controls has anyone done anything to filter the outside air? Like a DYI install, or found something its getting bad. Maybe someone can help.

There was a thread a few months back, but it seems to have been deleted. I can't find it, which is odd since I even posted a couple times in it... I know one guy did it and showed pictures in that post. He had to cut the bottom out where they used to go and they fit fine as I recall. I have been thinking about it. I am glad I have the manual controls instead of auto, so mine stays in recycle all the time. Dad's truck with auto controls always shuts off the recycle when it sees dust on the road or something. Irritating. Anyway I know those filters would be a good thing around here because I used to clean them several times a year on our 2000s we had and they were always caked with dirt. I hate to see all that crud in the heater core. Hopefully that guy will see this thread and repost his pictures. Or you could check out an older truck and see where to put them. I figure I could cut the right spot from my memory of where they went on my old truck...
