I just installed the TM from a certain vendor from Washington state.
I did not have the courage to make my own.

The truck accelerates smooth now and the will continue to accel. until I take my foot off the pedal!!!!!

Now I just need to get the 3-inch down pipe and 4-inch exhaust.

Dude - congrats on your installation, but yer livin' really - no, I mean really - dangerously without the required EGT gage, along with the needed Boost gage.

Not a good scene to be holdin' your foot in it with those two unknowns workin' against you.

Hot weather is really bad for that.

I am about to go on a long trip with my truck. Are there any concerns I should have for steady hwy driving with the turbomaster and no guages?

I don't ever floor the accelerator and rarely do I stay hard in the throttle as this is my family hauler and cannot afford to break it.

Did you set the spring to the length as described in thedocumentation that came with it? (I believe it was 1 7/8 - 2")

If so, you should be fine. If not, then go measure and set it again.

I actually set it a little longer than the recomended 2-inches just to be on the safe side (about 2 1/8-inches)

If you set it like that, and it is in fact a true Heat TM I think you should be all set. Congrats on the install. I made my own a few months ago and really like it as well. Turbo sounds awesome.

Follow Bill's instructions to the letter, and you should be safe

Temperature gage will be your friend - keep an eye on it when running grades and hills.
