Well here goes nothing. Since I have finally bought the house that was so hard to find I can start the build on the truck which I havent picked up yet but will have at the end of the month when the house stuff is done. Heres the plan 02 reg cab 2wd long box D/A. Efilive with a fat race tune, TTS tranny, SC Converter 1057, Autometer ultra-lite boost and pyro guages set in the A-pillar, TTS dual lift pumps, MBRP turbo back exhaust, and DC-1 polished wheels. Probably some tint too. I hope to have it completed by late May. I don't know what this will put to the ground but I know that I have a lot of ricers, fords, and dodges to beat up on around the new place and plan on stomping them into the ground:gr_grin: . I still have 4k to play with that I am sure you guys can help me spend, but I think I have a good start. Vendors feel free to chime in. Thanks for any additonal help.

A Co-Pilot might be fun to play with. That will burn about $1300 :)

You will have a hard time hooking up a 2wd and will lose some ET there....especially on the street. If you want to go fast on 2wd plan for a set of slicks and some suspention work as well.

I happen to like TTS tuning for the LB7....might look into that as well ;)

If your going with other TTS parts a converter from them might be another option. I have had good luck with stuff from both TTS and suncoast.

ratlover, I wanted a 4wd but have yet to see one in good condition with low enough miles at the right price. I might even end up with an 04, what ever I decide to drop the $$$ on next week.

I could go out and buy a nice 4wd but wouldn't have the money to mod it, what fun is it to drive a stock truck. I still plan on getting this done by the end of may no matter what truck I end up with. Thanks for the input I really appreciate it and keep it coming.

Oh almost forgot, Turbo? :D

Vendors please. Especially Efilive

I would go with a full Suncoast 3 or 4 kit with 1057 and if you are a serious racer an ATS Co-Pilot as well.

I would definately get a 4x4 truck, if not you'll be hating your 60's and not having near as much fun.........;)

Lift pump choices you have Kennedy, TTS or Super Diesel.

EFI-Live from Trippin, McRat, Kennedy.

Turbo choice is a PPE-GT4094 or if you have the stones and want to get rods the GT42102

Several Vendors besides TTS offer custom tuning for the Duramax's.

Get ready to drop $10K on a full set-up with exhaust, intake, gauges, transmission, lift pumps, tires, wheels, etc.........

You are standing on the slippery slope, move a little closer and you'll fall in the money pit like the rest of us have..............:p:

Good Luck,

T:cool: NY

Just depends on how fast you want to go. I do turbos, tuning, fuelers, and other misc goodies.

I sell EFILive V2 currently with a racing tune included for free. We currently know of no LB7 tune that will exceed it's area under curve or peak output. This pulling season and drag season will tell what it's true capabilities are. It's a Team Salad tune, which means it's a group effort by a dedicated group of lunatics.

Be a lunatic. Fly Team Salad. :D

I've got the 10k+. I just found a couple of 4x4's I have to look into for possible purchase. I am starting the buying spree on parts and such next week. I already fell in that pit a long time ago, its just getting deeper thats all. McRat I will PM you when I am ready. Thanks guys

My biggest regret is not getting a 4wd.....

I would look into doing a 4 link rear end. you would get the adjustability to hook up on and off the street.
