does the 04 lly duramax come with a block heater. It says it comes with the gassers in my owners manual, but I cant see one on my max. Am I blind?? Thanks

The plug is on the passenger side of the engine compartment on the lower fender well. It's barely noticeable but follow the instructions in owner's manual, you'll find it.

Follow the block heater from the block. You will then see a coiled wire on the passenger side of the compartment. It is almost in line with the shock bracket. It is a black cord in a black frame, not easy to see. Once you trace, you will always find it.

Was able to test the elevated idle on my '05, worked as advertised. Does anyone see any problems using the elevated idle to get the temps up? Just not sure what the increased back pressure affects could be...http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Ermm.gif

My plug was wrapped around the cables on the passenger side battery. It was kinda hard to see.
