Howdy,

I see alot of people running EFI Live.
I see there is a big discount through EFI Live for the V1.

There are so many options and stuff I don't understand about EFI Live V1 and V2.

I just want to get rid of this Hypertech and outrun my buddy's LLY with Banks system and my other buddy's 06' Cummins !(Gonna be hard to do!)
This is my daily driver. and I want more power and I'm CHEAP !!
I don't want to spend the money on the V2. Can I get what I want out of the V1? I want to be able to program my own 5 levels of push button power. I will be installing an Aurora 4000 Turbo in the near future.

Please give me all advice you can.

2002 4x4 Duramax LB7

Currently running Hypertech ...Always on level 3 !
Wanting EFI Live!

If you have a laptop and don't plan on going to an LBZ anytime soon i would go with V1. Thats what i did!!

Ditto.

Either way you go, you have the same abilities as far as programming goes. There is no advantage to one over the other at this point. Even once the releases are out, the only real advantage to V2 is more LBZ control (I think??) and the ability to load tunes and retrieve tunes without taking a laptop to the truck. With the DSP5 you speak of, this becomes a minute point once you get yourself 5 good tunes in there.

Off topic BUT, you will HAVE TO HAVE a trans upgrade before long. ;)

We just got our V2 but I have been tuning with the V1 for over a year. It will work just fine for you. Never regret a bit getting efilive.

You still can't beat an LLY with an LB7 though:D
