We bought a 2001 CC, D/A Dually for towing our 5th wheel. http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gifAfter the hitch was installed I backed under the trailer and the trailer sits about 3 in. High in the front, with about 5-6 in. clearence between the trailer and bed rail.http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Disapprove.gif What options do I have to lower the rear of the rear of the truck? thank you for any and all suggestions, Kent.

Kent,

I would consult a suspension shop. It may be as simple as removing a single leaf from the rear springs. That would give your suspension enough sag when you hook up the 5er. Or they may just take some of the arch out of them. A good suspension shop will know exactly what to do.

Good Luck with it!

Personally I would install a shackle and hanger kit then install airbags as well so that you can raise it back up for proper ride height. You can get everything you need to do this (or have it done) at any suspension shops near you. You can also call 4 Wheel Parts and they can get you what you need and ship it out to you if you want to do the work yourself. Good luck
