I, along with some of you feel the air conditioner could be cooler. Mine would pump out around 70 degrees when the outside temps were hovering near 100. I took it to the dealer and after waiting two weeks for the parts, they replaced some parts and recharged the system. The repair invoice is attached.

Of course, the outside temps have fallen, so it is hard to tell how much better the system is working, I can attest the system blows much cooler. I'm not sure if it 39 degrees like they state is achievable, but overall I am happy http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Big Smile.gif. I hope this helps those with the same problem.

I too had the A/C that wasn't broke per the dealer, they ALL work that way. The dealer had a problem with the concept that this was my first diesel but not the first vechicle with A/C, and no, they DO NOT all work that way. Went in last week for a oil change and they have my loaner waiting for me, it seems my parts had come in. Strange, I didn't order any parts. It was all the parts for my A/C that WASN'T broke.

Picked the truck up the next day. We've had temp's in the mid to high 80's here, and the A/C is one heck of a lot better than it ever was when it was un-broke! I even get cool air at a idle now. A couple of my other trucks with the un-broke A/C didn't do that.

So now I am even more UN-BROKE http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/HiHi.gif and winter is a'comin. Hope they didn't disconnect the heater!

I had this exact procedure done on my LLY today, and I can tell you there is a HUGE difference.

Call your Service Manager boys, and tell him to get those parts on order for you. It works.
