I am looking at the MKW offroad M26 wheel. Several questions:
I believe the stock steel wheel is 16x6.5 with offset of 19mm with a backspace of 4.875. (Is that correct?)
It appears that the 16" in this wheel does not work as it has a 0 offset. That leaves the 17" x 8". If I did my math correctly, that is a net increase in offset of about .5" (tire moves in towards well about .5").
Will I have problems with the tire rubbing?
What size tire should I be going with?
One site said this rim was for 'lifted trucks'. Will the 17" get me in trouble on a stock truck?

Not bad...

The stock wheels are 16x8. If you go to an 8" wide rin, they will rub. Cranking the tortion bars and minor trimming worked for me and I'm only running 16x8.

You can play around here. http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp

The OEM wheels are 16'' x 6.5'' with 28mm offset and 4.875'' backspace.

A reduction in offset will push the tire/wheel assembly out towards the fender. Actual clearance will also depend on what size tires you get.

Make sure the new wheels are rated for the load and pressure that your tires are rated for.

Okay! It is actually stamped right on the rim!
It looks like most guys are still running 16" on non-lifted trucks. It would seem to me that a 17" rim would not be a problem if you go with a 70 series and watch the offset and width versus the stock settings. I checked, and it looks like the stock set up has at least 1.5" clearance to the wheel well at the closets position.
Does anyone have any experience with MKW wheels?
