Just cranked up my front end about an inch..Before I started though I measered for a starting point reference and noticed that the drivers side was a 1/2 inch higher than the passengers side...I leveled it out but now Iam not sure if I should keep the offset in..? Anyway the truck looks better and the ride is a little better... I think my truck was extremely low from the factory..the torsion bolt heads were well below the frame. Now there slightly recessed in the frame with plenty of thread left...

It is not unusual to have drivers side a tad higher. I have seen this in a lot of vehicals over the years. Really not a bad idea either if it primarly has only one occupant most of the time. My 78 IH Scout even had 1/4" spacers between passanger side axles (front and rear) and springs (springs were under axle) to make drivers side higher from factory. Edited by: snoman

The drivers side is usually anywhere from 1/2" to 3/4" depending on weight of the primary driver of the vehicle. I think if you are average size most will set it between the those two markings.

You must take in consideration the fuel tank also. Is it full or close to empty when you measured?
