the SM at the local chevy dealer told me that they had stopped doing the re-calibrate deal as it wasnt fixing the problems - does anyone know of this ? said that they instead were running all the tests and replacing items as needed ?? mine has already been in once for the knocking, valve type sound at idle and between 1500-1800 rpm's, and is going back tuesday - any help would be great, thanks

if the reflash hasnt been done, do it first, regardless. If they go to tech assist, they are gonna want it done before they help them any.. IF they dont do it and refuse, go someplace else. They think they are smarter then the they are

Does just uploading the new software to the ECM take care of the injector recalibrate or does the Tech then have to perform a second step after the upload to do the recalibrate? (This is in regard to the new reflash that came out around 9/10/04 for the LLY.)
Thanks.

Went to the dealer today and inquired about the LLY reflash. Nothing could be found for this software update. This truck was built in March and dealer said everything was the newest and greatest. Somebody know of any specific information concerning this update as far as the bulletin is concerned?
