I was bout to go and put a 4L80E in it then I though NAHHHHHH ima do a nasty Dmax pullout and Ally trans.

I have been looking at soing this in my 83 K5 for a while now. My problem is not enough cash flow. The easiest and best way imo to do it would be with a donor truck. I have looked around and found several in junkyards for $5k-15k. That is what is stopping me.

I actually saw the coolest thing the other day, if you have unlimited funds. A Bully Dog Rep was on his way to the Moab Jeep Safari on Easter Week and he was pulling an H3 on a trailer with Big A** tires and signage on it that said it was Bully Dog Diesel powered. I asked what was under the hood and he told me a Dmax engine and Ally tranny. He had the thing chipped with the Bully Dog chip and everything else from intake to exhaust. It looked cool. I wish I could have followed him just to see it run. This was an engine pull out from a wrecked van.
