Not sure what is going wrong. I plugged the hand held into my truck, turned the key on, selected performance tune, then original backup, and it was successful.

He then plugs it in, it asks what type of transmission, he selected it, then selects performance tune, then it says doesn't support vehicle, please get with reseller.

I'm pi$$ed right now because I thought I had my tuner sold and I had to meet up with the guy to give him his money back. I hope to get this squared away so that we can make the deal again if he's still interested. Please help. Thanks.

I'm not sure. Are you sure? If so, how do you do that? I put the programmer back to stock, so it should be ready for a new user. I'm going crazy here trying to figure out what is going on.

Anyone?

Straight from the manual:

There are three occasions when one needs to install the original backup into the vehicle:

-When going to the dealer for vehicle maintenance or repair.

-When returning the Predator to an authorized Diablosport dealer.

-Using the Predator to program another vehicle.
To restore the original backup select Performance Tune and then select original backup.

Once the original backup is restored the Predator can be used to program another vehicle.

I did the above, so it should work.

I don't know if this is right but it's worth a shot. Back in july when I got my predator it would only program an 06 LLY or LBZ, in november or so an update came out for it so I decided to update it, after I unhooked it from my computer went to plug it in the truck and now it says on the screen 06-07 LLY & LBZ. So maybe it just needs to be updated for your 07.

The version number for the Predator I have is a V.1R07. According to the website, they have had tons of updates because the latest one is a V.11R18.

I wonder if I need to update it.

I want to try and figure this out tonight so that I can do whatever I can tonight if possible. That way tomorrow I can meet up with the buyer and make the deal again. If there's nothing I can do as of tonight, then I'll have to wait till tomorrow.

I have a controller for sale right now and asked Diablo about returning to stock if it would load to another truck and they told me yes. Also spoke to a guy today that had an 07 and diablo told him it may need upgraded to work in 07 trucks. That would be for a controller that was purchased the first part of last year 06.

I made the call to Diablosport this morning and they told me I needed to update the latest version since my v.1r07 was pretty old. I didn't realize they had made so many revisions since I purchased mine. The programmer is sold and everything good now. The update was kind of a pain not knowing what to do and never doing it before.
